Tim Bruno is a European writer born in 1966.
When he was still a child, his parents decided to move to the country. Tim and his sister grew up among the greenery of the meadows and the woods, developing an extraordinary passion for animals and nature.
That same passion prompted young Bruno to attend university, where he took a degree in Biology. After university, Tim devoted himself to marine biology and the study of cetaceans; the results of his research have been published in the most important international journals.
In parallel with his scientific activities, Tim Bruno cultivated an enthusiasm for writing and fantastic literature. In 2004 he began working with Elisabetta Gnone on the highly successful Fairy Oak series. This important experience prompted him to conceive a fantasy saga in which nature plays a vital role: OSSIDEA.
The project began in 2008 and continued for the next three years. Tim Bruno's idea is to reconcile the child's original passion for nature with the rigour of the scientist; his fantastic worlds emerge from the pages as vivid and real.
Thus was born the Land of Arcon, the realm of elves and giants, of the gurblù and the kahuri, a universe with a wealth of magic and adventure, miraculously suspended between fantasy and reality
